The Middle Fork is 100 miles of sometimes mellow fishing water and sometimes churning class II-IV white water! Guests take turns helping crew our guided paddle raft, and at other times, just enjoying the ride (or trout fishing) on a guided oar raft. Those who'd like to "run solo" now and then for extra white water thrills can try out an inflatable kayak!

    Throughout our 5-day Middle Fork river rafting trips, guests bounce freely between the above options. However, guests who desire more privacy or who want to be fishing most of the time, may opt to pay a $370 p/p surcharge, guaranteeing that they'll always be seated in a guided oar raft with only one other guest and a guide.

    Specialty river trips are another option to consider: Read about our 3-day river trips, Kayaking, or Members Only trips (Corporate Retreats, Family or Club reunions). Or, how about all pitching in to buy an extra seat in order to bring additional specialty staff? A masseur? A nanny for the kids? A musician, biologist, historian, videographer or wine expert, for example?
 

    We camp at a variety of beautiful campsites during our river rafting trips. Some boast sandy beaches, others hot springs, nearby caves, waterfalls, homesteader cabins, or prime fishing holes. You won't be "roughing it," as on most white water rafting trips. Your guides do it all! You'll find a welcoming camp to greet you after your day on the river, complete with hors d'oeuvres! The guides will already have set up everything: hot shower, tents, Therma-Rest pads, fresh sleeping bags with cozy, flannel liners, chairs, campfire, ecologically-approved, sanitary and private toilet facilities, and maybe even a horseshoe or ultimate frisbee game! You may explore or relax while the guides prepare the most amazing gourmet meals (salmon, steaks, artichoke linguine, seafood stuffing, Caesar salad…), complete with dutch oven-baked nightly dessert! Wine will occasionally be served with selected dishes or appetizers, and a variety of non-alcoholic beverages such as punch, lemonade, coffee, tea and cocoa will be provided. After dinner, most guests linger around the campfire entertaining one another, stargazing, and soaking up the wilderness ambience.
